4thID uses Bluetooth Low Energy, often referred to as BLE, as well as Near Field Communications (NFC) to communicate with door badge readers.

If you're having issues with accessing an area or amenity using 4thID, please verify that BLE and NFC are on by following these instructions.

1. Open and log into the 4thID application as normal.

2. Select your Profile from the bottom right of the application home screen. 

3. Once within your profile, select BLE/NFC Status

3. The status of each will be displayed. If one or both are disabled, just tap on their button and you'll be taken to your phone's settings to enable them.

Once BLE/NFC is enabled, you will be able to access your area or amenity.
